Your team’s dynamic: The Edge OS Cloud team is responsible for the development, deployment, and operation of cloud services used for the remote management of connected devices, serving as a bridge between our clients’ on-premises physical security systems and Genetec’s Security Center SaaS platform. Within the Edge OS family, our team works closely with the team that provides the operating system and embedded services for these devices in order to deliver features such as device lifecycle management, software update deployment, and field observability. Our teams work with cutting-edge Cloud and IoT technologies to deliver customer-facing features as well as, in a spirit of collaboration, key services to Genetec’s application developers. As a Software Developer specializing in Unreal Engine, your role is pivotal in shaping how we harness Unreal's capabilities to meet the diverse demands of Virtual Production, VFX, LBE and TV production.   The Real-time software development team is tasked with seamlessly integrating Unreal into PXO's workflow and collaborating with production stakeholders and other members of the Technology team to devise efficient workflows and pioneering technologies that maximize our production processes.   Reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer, the Key Responsibilities in this role include   Integrating Unreal with Pixomondo's proprietary Virtual Production pipeline. Executing low-level rendering enhancements and performance optimizations in our engine build. Serving as the technical liaison for Unreal-related matters to VP artists/operators. We’re looking for a seasoned Database Engineer to join our Innovation Lab team in building and optimizing a custom web platform that leverages PostgreSQL and SQLite. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability of our data layer, as well as contributing to custom database design and engineering solutions tailored to our unique platform needs.
