ShareJob description Leading Formwork company in Alberta is looking for experienced professionals to join their workforce in their growing company. We have been the industry leader in residential & light commercial construction for over 35 years. We are a foundation formwork & flatwork company specializing in the “Duraform “system but we do also periodically use “Cam-lock” and “strip- ease” systems in the construction of our walls. We have contracts with many of the builders and developers in Alberta and stay busy year-round. We operate in Edmonton and the surrounding area with most of our work coming in the form of single family, large multi-family sites and light commercial. Qualifications: - 5-10+ years experience in concrete construction an asset. - Crew leader or Skilled Laborer for residential and multifamily foundation formwork - Proficiency using an array of power tools and hand tools an asset - Read / interpret blueprints. Complete footing layout. Stand wall to elevations & read geodetics provided on ICF drawings - Motivated and hardworking with the thirst to continually learn - Team players and safety oriented a must - Valid drivers license and vehicle is a requirement of the position. Responsibilities - Build and set footings to blueprint specifications and geodetic heights. - Erect foundation walls using the “Duraform “system - Ability to work as a team with a positive attitude to reach common goals - We are COR Certified. Safety is paramount. Compensation: - Industry leading wages - Company benefits program - Paid on the 15th and 30/31 of every month - Overtime paid after 44 hours a week. - 9.6% holiday / vacation paid on each cheque Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $27.00-$40.00 per hour Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Vision care Schedule: Monday to Friday Overtime hours are also available Experience: Skilled Labor: 5 + years (preferred) Work remotely: No
