ShareWe are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our outstanding team of professionals in the position of Parts Delivery Driver! Job Duties - Operate and drive vehicles to transport goods to customers - Load vehicle with product in an efficient and organized manner to minimize damage to parts and speed up deliveries - Lift and move product up to 75 lbs. - Drive the company vehicle following all road rules, speed limits and in a courteous manner as a representative of Auto Parts Authority - Ensure safe driving practices i.e.; having head lights on in inclement weather Clean and make minor repairs to vehicle to maintain appropriate service levels - Provide feedback to management regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems - Communicate with Store Manager and Driver Supervisor and other drivers to receive information, and updates - Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate - Ensure that all C.O.D orders are paid on delivery - Perform morning inspection on vehicle, ensuring safety and roadworthiness. Job Requirements - Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract - Knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas is an asset - Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing - Ability to prioritize - Team Support - High level of integrity and work ethic. Salary to start is $17.00 per hour. Must have a minimum of 3 years of current insurance history . Benefits available after 3 months (This includes full Medical and Dental). This is a Full-Time position. Shift would be Monday thru Friday 9:00 AM till 6 PM. And every other Saturday 9:00 AM till 4 PM. There is possibility for advancement onto the parts counter if interested.
