Position Summary
Data Engineer (Azure & Power BI):
The Data Engineer Azure & Power BI will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the company's data solutions, with a focus on data collection, transformation, analysis and visualization. He will work closely with business, BI and IT teams to ensure data quality, availability and security.
Main Responsibilities
Analyze existing solutions and propose improvements to enhance data quality and maintenance of visualization tools.
Design and implement reliable and efficient data pipelines on Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks).
Develop and maintain robust data models to meet business needs.
Create and optimize interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI.
Collaborate with functional teams to understand their analytical needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Implement best practices for data governance, including security, documentation and compliance.
Ensure data quality, consistency and availability across the organization.
Participate in technology monitoring for Cloud, Data and BI solutions to suggest continuous improvements.
Requirements
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Azure Data services (Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Databricks).
Good knowledge of the Azure Cloud environment: Azure Storage, Dynamics 365.
Expertise in data modeling and transformation (ETL/ELT).
Excellent knowledge of Power BI (DAX, Power Query, dashboard creation).
Strong SQL skills and query optimization.
Knowledge of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, cloud architecture and APIs.
Experience in data security management (Azure Active Directory, roles, access).
Experience with other data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense or Tableau.
Experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, Java is a plus.
Professional Skills
Analytical and synthesis capabilities.
Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and business teams.
Team spirit and autonomy in project management.
Rigor, organization and attention to detail.
Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Profile
Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, statistics, data science or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role (Data Engineer, BI or advanced Data Analyst).
Practical professional experience with Azure and Power BI.
Azure Data Engineer or Power BI certification is an asset.
Professional French and English.
