95 MIM Fender Stratocaster "Squier Series". This guitar is not to be confused with the Squier brand. This is an actual Fender start assembled in Mexico. These guitars were built from US overstock neck and bodies but completed with cheaper offshore electronics. I've included a link to a discussion on this and there are plenty more links if you take a look. https://squier-talk.com/threads/fender-mim-squier-series.2014 This guitar has been modded extensively. The cheap electronics and pickups have been removed and replaced with a set of Fishman Fluence pickups. The backplate has been replaced with the Fishman power pack for ease of use in charging as opposed to changing battery by face plate removal. The pickguard has been upgraded to a leather engraved guard as the face plates on the originals were pretty shoddy IMHO. I'm more of a Gibson guy, but I'll stand this guitar against US strat I've played. Its essentially a US guitar:) Its pretty near mint and I'm not seeking any trades as I'm working real hard on thinning my herd here:)
