We are looking for a Quality Specialist on behalf of our partner, a major aerospace, commercial and industrial transportation company located in Laval. Job Summary Customer evaluations. Monitoring and reporting of quality performance. Analysis and reporting of statistical process control. Production, standardization and distribution of product criteria (PC) and routers. Configuration control of PCs and routers. Functions and Responsibilities Ensure that customer evaluations and plant quality performance are collected, monitored, analyzed and reported periodically. Plant quality performance: monthly tracking, analysis and reporting, scrap, labels, NCRs and customer complaints. Conduct monthly review, analysis and reporting of key characteristics using SPC control techniques. For tooling where key characteristics have been defined and collected for internal process control and/or according to customer requirements, analyze and process data and communicate results to engineering. Ensure that production personnel and staff have the required and up-to-date product criteria and cutting tools to perform their duties. Production: follow and coordinate the writing, updates, reviews and approvals of product criteria, cutting tools and associated forms. Production: inform management, as necessary, of delays or difficulties in producing required cutting tools and cutting tools. Production: maintain records of revision levels, authorizations and justifications for changes. Maintain a record of temporary cutting tools, cutting tools and forms while ensuring that permanent instructions are generated in a timely manner. Standardization: produce cutting tools, cutting tools and associated forms in accordance with established standards. Reproduction and distribution – Reproduce and distribute the necessary copies with appropriate usage identifications; maintain updated records and distribution logs. Maintain a record of all changes and authorizations affecting PCs, routers and associated forms. Ensure, through effective distribution, updates and record keeping, that workstations and authorized users have current copies of PCs, routers and associated forms. Current PCs, routers and associated forms are the most recent and up-to-date documents approved for part production. Perform other tasks as needed. Adhere to company values and code of ethics. Comply with company Environmental, Health and Safety programs. Required Skills and Abilities Develop and maintain a high level of competence as a quality analyst and MDM technician in the following areas: Statistical process control. Methodology for production, reproduction and tracking of documentation. Computer-aided processing (CAP) for imaging and text. Quality system. ISO 9000, AS 9000 and D1-9000 standards. Customer specifications and standards. Required Education College diploma in science or equivalent in a technical discipline and good knowledge of statistical process control and document management software. Professional Title ISO certification would be an asset. Experience Previous relevant experience in SPC analysis and document management.
