In 1973 CSN Glen-Merritt opened as a family-run business offering customers top quality collision repairs and friendly hometown service. Using state of the art equipment, our trained technicians will repair your vehicle properly so that you can get back on the road safely.  The role of a Parts coordinator is to efficiently process and manage parts for the collision facility. Parts are a main artery of a collision facility, which is an integral part of the operation and performance. The parts coordinator must have a sense of urgency and an attention to detail. The parts coordinator assists with parts from start to finish. Primary Objectives of the Role Assist Estimator with parts sourcing for claims. (Part pricing, availability, confirmations, finding vendors) Receive parts orders from various vendors, confirm parts billed are in hand and accounted for. Sign for order with vendor. Check parts for shipping damage. Minimize parts delays by capturing mistakes. Mirror match parts to dissembled parts or photos in management system for accuracy. (proper options, finish, correct side of vehicle, quantity) Receive parts on hand immediately in management system upon arrival, scan invoice into management system, and process invoice for payment as per shop payables policy. Enter PPC’S – Part price changes – make team aware for supplement. Organize parts and track for easy location, store parts safely to avoid loss or damage. Label with RO Information. Monitor the RO parts order. If parts order is not 100% fulfilled – work with estimator and other team members to get updated ETAS daily on items, (higher focus on repairs that are WIP, or non-drive claims) Provide detailed update on parts orders and ETAS to estimator, techs, production staff. Assist Techs in locating ordering items required – parts, fluids, hardware etc Stage parts for repair going in to production, ensure techs have everything required. Process returns for parts with vendor, track credits. Re-order parts where required – track ETA and update team members. Keep parts area neat and organized, ensure receiving area is free for deliveries. Practice health and safety guidelines when moving heavy items, and using ladders, or other equipment. Have up to date WHMIS training, knowledge of Information Security PIPEDA Requirements Valid ‘G’ Class Driver’s license I CAR training/certification is an asset Knowledge of inventory management and systems an asset i.e. (car part.com, OE Link, Cross Canada) Knowledge of Nexsyis Management System is an asset Computer literate with proficiency using basic programs such as Windows and Outlook, Audatex and Mitchell. Able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally. 2 year of related experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Must have a valid class G driver's license with a clean driver’s abstract over the last 3 years; Personal Attributes: Organizational skills/Time Management: Strong planning and organizational skills, with an ability to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously.
