Project The Woodfibre LNG Project is located approximately 7 km west-southwest of Squamish, British Columbia. It involves the construction and operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility on the previous Woodfibre pulp mill site, which will have a storage capacity of 250,000 m3 and would produce approximately 2.1 million tons per year of LNG. Woodfibre Management Ltd. is a privately held Canadian company based in Vancouver and a subsidiary of Pacific Energy Corporation Limited. Position The Loading Master is an integral part of Woodfibre LNG’s dynamic team and will be responsible of all the activities related to mooring and loading of LNG carriers berthing to Woodfibre’s floating storage and marine terminals facility. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Marine Operations and will join early in the project execution phase to support the operations readiness effort for an efficient transition to the operations phase and supporting the company’s objective of becoming a safe, reliable and efficient LNG producer in BC, Canada.   Responsibilities   During the Project Execution phase, the successful applicant will: Provide oversight and technical support to sign long term tug services agreements as well as other terminal services such as piloting.
