Job purpose: The Distribution Center Manager (DCM) is responsible for the management and development of all distribution center operations (including KPIs, Goals & Objectives) and will effectively lead and manage a professional distribution team in continually meeting changing operational demands. The DCM is responsible for the overall performance of the Distribution Centers (DC’s) that they manage as well as ensuring that all Health, Safety and C-TPAT policies are followed. The DCM works in collaboration with other departments to ensure that Hamilton Kent properly responds to the needs of our customers. The DCM will have responsibility and ownership of an operating budget that varies based on the size of the DC’s they manage. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the overall Distribution Center Operations according to the existing safety, service, quality and C-TPAT standards defined by Hamilton Kent Management and execution of workbench software to ensure On-Time Customer Delivery for all out-bound shipments and stock transfers within an SAP-EWM warehouse environment Utilize SAP Tools – Handling Unit management, Wave and RF capabilities to ensure productivity of DC members is effective and efficient Develop, promote, train and manage the different aspects of Health & Safety, as well as Human Resources for all DC operations and team members Manage and develop DC team members in a way that ensures team cohesion and effectiveness in offering prompt and accurate customer service Ensure proper training of all DC team members according to internal standards and provincial/state laws and regulations specific to our industry including monthly safety & employee meetings Develop, implement and execute actions to support department KPIs, Goals & Objectives and related metrics & reports Utilize Continuous Improvement principles to make operations more efficient while improving customer service through the implementation and execution  of Lean Principles, Problem Solving, 5S Programs, Gemba Walks, etc Manage and resolve customer complaints and corrective actions in partnership with Customer Service and Sales Manage inventory accuracy programs through the use of RF technology and cycle counts including planning, managing and participating in the annual physical inventory Assist in the development of the annual operating budget and monitor results monthly thereafter to address variances between budget and actual Coordinate & manage repairs and purchases for the DC in collaboration with the Purchasing Manager and/or Site Maintenance Manager Requirements Community College or University degree in Operations/ Logistics Management/ Customer Service & Sales or equivalent experience Experience with SAP EWM is a must WHIMS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, First Aid Certifications, etc are assets Leadership/mentoring skills, able to train and develop junior reports Intermediate to Sophisticated Level Excel skills required Experience in an RF environment Experience working/managing in a unionized environment is an asset.

Parts are a main artery of a collision facility, which is an integral part of the operation and performance. The parts coordinator must have a sense of urgency and an attention to detail. The parts coordinator assists with parts from start to finish. Primary Objectives of the Role Assist Estimator with parts sourcing for claims. (Part pricing, availability, confirmations, finding vendors) Receive parts orders from various vendors, confirm parts billed are in hand and accounted for. Sign for order with vendor. Check parts for shipping damage. Minimize parts delays by capturing mistakes. Mirror match parts to dissembled parts or photos in management system for accuracy. (proper options, finish, correct side of vehicle, quantity) Receive parts on hand immediately in management system upon arrival, scan invoice into management system, and process invoice for payment as per shop payables policy. Enter PPC’S – Part price changes – make team aware for supplement. Organize parts and track for easy location, store parts safely to avoid loss or damage. Label with RO Information. Monitor the RO parts order. If parts order is not 100% fulfilled – work with estimator and other team members to get updated ETAS daily on items, (higher focus on repairs that are WIP, or non-drive claims) Provide detailed update on parts orders and ETAS to estimator, techs, production staff. Assist Techs in locating ordering items required – parts, fluids, hardware etc Stage parts for repair going in to production, ensure techs have everything required. Process returns for parts with vendor, track credits. Re-order parts where required – track ETA and update team members. Keep parts area neat and organized, ensure receiving area is free for deliveries. Practice health and safety guidelines when moving heavy items, and using ladders, or other equipment. Project The Woodfibre LNG Project is located approximately 7 km west-southwest of Squamish, British Columbia. It involves the construction and operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility on the previous Woodfibre pulp mill site, which will have a storage capacity of 250,000 m3 and would produce approximately 2.1 million tons per year of LNG. Woodfibre Management Ltd. is a privately held Canadian company based in Vancouver and a subsidiary of Pacific Energy Corporation Limited. Position The Loading Master is an integral part of Woodfibre LNG’s dynamic team and will be responsible of all the activities related to mooring and loading of LNG carriers berthing to Woodfibre’s floating storage and marine terminals facility. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Marine Operations and will join early in the project execution phase to support the operations readiness effort for an efficient transition to the operations phase and supporting the company’s objective of becoming a safe, reliable and efficient LNG producer in BC, Canada.   Responsibilities   During the Project Execution phase, the successful applicant will: Provide oversight and technical support to sign long term tug services agreements as well as other terminal services such as piloting. Ensure implementation of company’s TERMPOL project recommendations prior to start of operations, Including the completion of Full Mission Bridge Simulations (FMBS) to the satisfaction of the regulating authority.
