Karate Lessons

Karate lessons beginning on September 3rd, 2025. Located at the Seniors Centre , 56 Francis Street, Kingston, ON. Come and learn Shito-ryu, one of Japan’s four major styles of karate. Under the direction of Shito-ryu Karate-do Kyokai, a Canadian organization headed by Sensei Cam Steuart with its roots from the late Sensei Fumio Demura, (former All Japan Champion, stunt man and the stunt double of the Mr.Miyagi character in the Karate Kid series). Classes will be held Monday and Wednesday evening, 5 to 5:40pm kids (8-11years old), 5:45 to 6:30pm (Adults), 6:30 to 7pm (Advanced). Head instructor Chris Schulz (5th degree Shito-ryu Karate-do, 2nd degree Aikido, 3rd degree Iaido) has 43 years experience in martial arts with 40 years teaching, has been running the Kingston dojo since 2014.
