Specialized IT-Infrastructure Application Consultants - Bilingual
We are seeking IT-Infrastructure application specialists. In these roles, you will work on a client project within the public sector in Montreal.
CONSULTANT PROFILES:
- Cybersecurity specialist and architect
Participate in implementing the organization-wide cybersecurity transformation roadmap, contribute to the deployment of the recommended cybersecurity architecture to ensure the integrity of functionalities and reliability of all cybersecurity components, support the evolution, optimization, and implementation of new IT solutions.
Ensure protection of various critical operational technologies.
- UNIX, AIX, Sun Solaris, Linux and containerization specialist (Red Hat OpenShift, Docker and Kubernetes)
Act as an expert collaborating on enhancement and maintenance projects for these technologies;
Plan, gather, analyze and provide written documentation of technological requirements to support implementation, deployment and evolution of these systems.
- Cloud infrastructure systems architecture and administration specialist
Develop a cloud strategy based on organizational needs and SANTÉ QUÉBEC requirements, and design architecture for integrating infrastructure and application technologies into cloud environments. Implement cloud solutions including migrations to these platforms (applications and infrastructures). Deploy and maintain cloud resources (private, public, hybrid).
- Network specialist
Collaborate as an expert on enhancement and maintenance projects for these technologies;
Plan, gather, analyze and provide written documentation of technological requirements to support implementation, deployment and evolution of these systems.
- Voice network specialist
Collaborate as an expert on enhancement and maintenance projects for these technologies;
Plan, gather, analyze and provide written documentation of technological requirements to support implementation, deployment and evolution of these systems.
Requirements
Knowledge of network security, operating systems, identity and access management (AD, SSO), and cloud computing concepts.
Mastery of security architecture, frameworks, and controls for infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms.
Proficiency with security software (antimalware, firewalls, SIEM, NEDR, WAF, NGW, IDS, IPS, etc.).
Technical and conceptual mastery of virtualization and containerization solutions (Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, ARO);
Solid knowledge of server and storage environments (SAN and NAS);
Good understanding of networking issues intrinsic to virtualization infrastructures (communication, VLANs, vSwitch);
Solid experience managing containers, including Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, or other service mesh implementations.
DevOps experience with at least one technology such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Service, etc.
In-depth knowledge of networking concepts: IP subnetting, TCP/IP, IPAM, DHCP, DNS, IP aggregation, NAT, VLAN, routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP), MPLS, QoS, Radius, Tacacs+ and 802.1x
Experience with Cisco equipment: ASR routers, Catalyst switches, UCS servers, SAN (Cisco MDS), wireless controllers, Identity Service Engine (ISE)
Knowledge of Cisco ACI technology and data center network architecture
Familiarity with Cisco enterprise wireless solutions, VoIP, VPN tunnels, load balancing systems (Citrix ADC), and network performance monitoring tools such as Zabbix, ExtraHop, GigaMon.
Strong understanding of networking concepts: IP SUBNET, TCP/IP, MPLS, DHCP, VOIP, SIP, QOS, PRI, voice and fax codecs
Solid knowledge of Avaya Communication & Collaboration suite
Experience with AVAYA COMMUNICATIONS SOLUTION, including media servers, media gateways, and communication endpoints
