TEHORA is currently looking for a COBOL Programmer Analyst with strong technical skills, excellent knowledge, and who wishes to apply their expertise within a versatile team. Without being exhaustive, below are the services and deliverables expected from the selected candidate. The tasks to be performed as part of this mandate are, in whole or in part: Become familiar with functional architecture documents or product backlog; Consult with users; Develop or modify functional specifications; Present and obtain user validation of functional specifications; Apply corrections to functional specification anomalies prior to production; Support users in preparing acceptance testing, strategy, case inventory, monitor the progress of tests and correct anomalies; Perform any other activities related to this mandate. Deliverables: The deliverables to be produced or reviewed include, in whole or in part, the following elements, without being exhaustive: Functional specifications; Functional test estimates, test cases and results; Description of programming units; Code of programming units; Integrated test strategy, cases and results; Implementation strategy; Deployment of solutions; Graduation requests; Any documentation underlying the previous responsibilities. Requirements 1. Hold a first-cycle university degree (bachelor's degree) in information technology (computer science, software engineering or computer engineering) or another relevant field, or have a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience; 2. Have five (5) years of experience in the development and maintenance of mainframe and/or client-server systems in a distributed environment; 3. Have two (2) years of experience in developing functional specifications as part of system development or maintenance; 4. Have three (3) years of experience as a functional analyst in a mainframe environment operating with an IDMS database and using one of the following languages: COBOL and CICS with TSO/ISPF and JCL tools.
