Job Summary: We are seeking a Design to Cost, Design to Value Project Manager to join our dynamic team. You will take on this role within a design team in the aerospace sector. In a context of strong competitive pressure and continuous cost optimization, our company aims to strengthen its Design to Cost/Value approach from the early stages of product development. The project manager will play a key role in cost control while ensuring the performance, quality, and regulatory compliance of the developed aeronautical systems. Key Responsibilities: Design to Cost/Value Project Manager: Lead Design to Cost initiatives on aeronautical product development projects (systems, structures, equipment). Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (engineering, procurement, industrialization, quality, finance) to integrate cost optimization from the design phase. Analyze target costs and develop robust cost models in collaboration with procurement and controlling functions. Identify cost reduction levers: material selection, design, industrial processes, standardization, make-or-buy, etc. Facilitate creativity or value workshops (VA/VE) to generate innovative and economically viable solutions. Monitor cost performance indicators (Cost per Part, Total Cost of Ownership, etc.) and ensure regular reporting. Ensure compliance of proposed solutions with aeronautical regulatory and standard requirements. Requirements Experience : Proven experience (3 to 8 years) in technical project management within the aerospace industry, ideally on Design to Cost, Value Engineering, or Costing topics. Education & Certifications : Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautics, industrial project management, or a related field. Skills : Strong understanding of aeronautical design and manufacturing processes (machining, composites, assembly, etc.). Proficiency in cost estimation and cost modeling tools. Knowledge of VA/VE, Design to Cost, and Design to Value methodologies. Cross-functional leadership, results-driven, and rigorous mindset. Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize information. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to influence and bring people together.
