Expected contract duration of 3 to 5 years. Hybrid role. Travel to Levis 5-10% of the time. Work hours require availability between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The senior agile coach supports all departments and vice-presidencies in the integration of agile practices. To this end, they develop contextualized agile tools and methods, design and implement deployment strategies, train, motivate, and guide leaders and teams toward strategic agile operations. Their work improves collaboration, responsiveness, velocity, and the quality of deliverables. Their primary activities, without being exhaustive, are as follows: • Designs and evolves agile tools and practices, considering organizational needs and context, acting as an expert in agile transformation: o Suggest, as an expert, the use and adoption of agile frameworks and best practices o Strategically advise and influence leadership on recommended directions, acting as a change agent in the adoption of agility o Provide strategic advisory on the evolution of the roadmap for enterprise-wide agility deployment o Ensure removal of organizational impediments to agility • Supports leaders at all hierarchical levels, primarily at the executive level, acting as a coach to help them adopt an agile mindset: o Supports leaders in their learning, shares experience to motivate and inspire them as a mentor o Helps leaders establish a conducive environment that promotes collaboration, engagement, and motivation, enabling their teams to work autonomously and continuously improve • Advises management and performs work enabling the decomposition and implementation of SAFe trains • Defines and establishes a Lean portfolio for information technology projects across our institution through the implementation of new corporate prioritization mechanisms • Participates in the agile transformation of project management processes (planning, monitoring, accountability, cost) • Integrates multi-team or multi-project agile synchronization (Scrum of Scrums). Deliverables. Without being exhaustive, here is a list of potential deliverables within the scope of this mandate: • Agile-based strategies, including recommended directions for agility and priority activities for agile transformation • Roadmaps tailored to performance objectives, intervention context, and current agile maturity level • Support plans for leaders and teams based on performance objectives, intervention context, and current agile maturity level • Develop a strategy for SAFe train decomposition and implementation • Management indicators to measure agile maturity, team velocity, and performance • Prepare presentations, executive documents, or reports related to planned activities (analyses, summaries, strategic advice, recommendations, action plans, implementation plans) • Training strategy and materials on the SAFe framework • Change management plan. Requirements: Mandatory minimum expectations (requirements) The Senior Agile Coach must meet the following expectations: 1. Have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience using an agile framework or providing agile coaching, including at least five (5) years in the information technology field. 2. Have served as a senior agile coach in one or more mandates totaling at least 600 person-days within the past five (5) years. The submitted mandates must each be a minimum of 200 person-days. 3. Demonstrate three (3) experiences of over 20 person-days each in developing and delivering training as a Scrum Master or agile coach within the past five (5) years. These experiences may have occurred within the same mandate, and these mandates may be those presented in point 2. 4. Demonstrate three (3) experiences where the resource acted as an agile coach for managers within the past five (5) years. These experiences may have occurred within the same mandate, and these mandates may be those presented in point 2 of this section. 5. The proposed resource must hold a SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification. 6. Have completed at least one (1) mandate involving the identification and implementation of at least one SAFe train within the past five (5) years. 7. Have completed at least one (1) 'agile coaching' mandate lasting a minimum of twelve (12) months within the Quebec public, para-public, or private sectors. Desired additional expectations 8. Have at least one experience using Azure DevOps tool. 9. Have at least one experience working as a Scrum Master, agile coach, or other relevant agile role in the implementation or evolution of software applications.
