Your team’s dynamic: The Edge OS family is responsible for developing an operating system and services that enable remote management of Cloudlink devices, which are used to deploy the next generation of Genetec physical security software to our clients. Your objective will be to work on features related to device lifecycle management (enrollment, updates, etc.), application deployment, and observability of these devices in the field. We work with cutting-edge technologies at the intersection of IoT, embedded systems, and the Cloud, to provide solutions that simplify operational management for our clients. In a spirit of collaboration, we also deliver key services aimed at Genetec application developers. Your day at a glance: As part of an Agile development team, ensure software quality by contributing to the design and execution of manual and automated tests from the early stages of development. Review feature acceptance criteria with developers and write test plans to validate them. Test public and private APIs of services. Maintain a test environment capable of detecting functional regressions that could impact production, within a continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. Provide detailed reports on executed tests and identified issues. Propose and implement new tools and practices to improve the efficiency of the QA process. What makes you a great fit: Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written (this role requires interaction with our international collaborators and customers) 3+ years of experience in manual and/or automated testing Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities to support both internal and external clients Fast learner with the ability to work independently An asset if you have: Experience with scripting or programming languages for test automation (PowerShell, Bash, C#, etc.) Experience in web testing or development (HTML, HTTP, React, TypeScript, Swagger, etc.) Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.) Experience with microservices architectures in a CI/CD environment using Docker and Kubernetes Experience with Linux and command-line interfaces Let’s talk perks!
