We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks. Accounting Clerk responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements. You will also run accounting software programs (e.g. SAP) to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts. A successful accounting assistant should be familiar with all accounting procedures and have a flair for numbers. Ultimately, a successful Accounting Clerk will ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively. Our client, Wightman is hiring a Fractional Controller to support financial operations during a 15-month contract engagement. This part-time (20-30 hours per week), remote role (with occasional in-office requirements for training, meetings and audits) offers the chance to contribute to a well-established organization. This role is an individual contributor role focused on operational excellence. About the Role Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Fractional Controller will oversee and execute core financial functions, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls. You’ll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation, and financial analysis, helping to maintain operational continuity and financial integrity throughout the contract period.
