TEHORA is currently looking for a COBOL programmer analyst with strong technical skills, solid knowledge, and a desire to apply their expertise within a versatile team. The following services and deliverables, while not exhaustive, are expected from the selected candidate. The tasks to be performed as part of this mandate include, in whole or in part: - Review the functional architecture documentation or product backlog; - Consult with users; - Develop or modify functional specifications; - Present and obtain user approval of functional specifications; - Implement corrections for functional specification defects prior to production; - Support users in preparing acceptance testing, strategies, and test case inventories, monitor testing progress, and correct defects; - Perform any other activities related to this mandate. Deliverables: The deliverables to be produced or revised include, in whole or in part, the following items, without being limited to them: - Functional specifications; - Functional test estimates, test cases, and results; - Description of programming units; - Code of programming units; - Integrated test strategy, test cases, and results; - Implementation strategy; - Solution deployment; - Graduation requests; - Any documentation underlying the responsibilities listed above. Requirements: 1. Hold a bachelor's degree in information technology (computer science, software engineering, or computer engineering) or another relevant field, or have a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience; 2. Have five (5) years of experience in the development and maintenance of mainframe and/or client-server systems in a distributed environment; 3. Have two (2) years of experience in preparing functional specifications as part of system development or maintenance; 4. Have three (3) years of experience as a functional analyst in a mainframe environment using an IDMS database and one of the following languages: COBOL and CICS, with TSO/ISPF and JCL tools.
