The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and the ability to work in a hospital environment. Mission: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a hospital setting. Assess patients' medical and emotional needs. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Use the Epic system to document care and monitor patient progress. Ensure effective communication with families regarding patients' health status and needs. Participate in case management to ensure continuity of care. Train and supervise auxiliary staff when necessary. Requirements: DEC in Nursing and a valid license to practice. Minimum of one year of hospital or medical setting experience is strongly preferred. Cardiac arrhythmia course: 45-hour program (ability to analyze/interpret cardiac rhythms). Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency and resuscitation room settings. Recent emergency experience (within the last year). Emergency experience accumulated in small hospitals (fewer than 10 observation beds) will not be considered sufficient. Minimum of 1 year of triage experience with official triage training (CTAS). Ability to speak and understand English (must be proficient). DSQ key, ACLS and ATLS certifications are assets. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
