ShareJOB OFFER – Nurse Work location: CS de Chibougamau Start date: August 3 to October 13 – Day shifts Temporary assignment with possibility of extension About the position: Services SFT is looking for a Nurse to fill a temporary position in the Operating Room in the city of Chibougamau. This position offers a stimulating, supportive work environment focused on high-quality, patient-centered care. Main responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a hospital setting. Assess patients' medical and emotional needs. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure effective communication with families regarding patients' health status and care needs. Participate in case management to ensure continuity of care. Train and supervise auxiliary staff when necessary. Requirements: College Diploma (DEC) in Nursing. Active membership with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ). Qualified for internal and external services, recovery room management, digestive endoscopy, sedation management and monitoring. Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in all the above departments, including day surgery. Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle required. Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to the work environment and capable of leading a critical care room and making sound decisions. Excellent communication and active listening skills. Strong organizational sense, professionalism, and autonomy. Personal vehicle required.
