Product Manager Blainville, Quebec On-site, Full-time Reference Number: CAN-QC-BLA-107-270625 EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS Develop and maintain business relationships with key regional and/or national suppliers. Ability to develop logistics scenarios and assess associated costs: inbound and outbound freight and other related expenses. Interact with Doman’s regional and national staff to ensure supplier programs and products align with company ethics, distribution model, pricing structures, operational and safety requirements, profitability targets, customer needs, and consumer/builder preferences. Serve as the custodian of national and regional supplier agreements, influence profitability at the regional level, maintain all national pricing functions, participate in the pre-priced system process, and manage all supplier claim processes to optimize profitability. Collaborate with regional procurement to maintain optimal inventory levels across all branches. Ensure an effective communication channel is established with the sales organization for all activities, in alignment with the Director of Product and Marketing Management, the Director of National Accounts, and national and regional requirements. Seek new solutions and expand customer service offerings by collaborating with other product managers and the marketing department. Ability to learn and master the company’s ERP system (JDE) and other business analytics tools. REQUIREMENTS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Minimum of 4 years of experience in distribution product management. Knowledge of the building materials and hardware industry is an asset. Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to influence without direct authority. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical skills. Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude, even in challenging situations. Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and clearly communicate the highest value propositions. Proficient keyboard and computer skills; highly comfortable with Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to influence sales in person and over the phone with customers at various levels. Ability to write professional emails, letters, and sales documents. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS Bilingualism (English and French) EDUCATION Post-secondary education is a minimum requirement.
