TEHORA is currently seeking a Project Supervisor (M243) with strong technical skills, extensive knowledge, and a desire to apply their expertise within a versatile team. The following, without being exhaustive, are the services and deliverables the selected candidate will be required to provide. Description of work or deliverables: - Prepare detailed large-scale drawings for elements not predictable during the preparation of final plans and specifications; - Make recommendations regarding approval of equivalency for construction materials or equipment; - Prepare a monitoring plan in accordance with the Guide de surveillance—Chantiers d’infrastructures de transport. This plan must be approved by the client; - Implement the list of all operation stations (locations, coordinates, balancing in x, y, z) used for project execution; - Coordinate and monitor the work team’s activities during construction; - Monitor citizen complaints related to work execution; - Hold regular site meetings; - Periodically visit the construction site; - Report technical issues arising during construction and/or situations that could affect the design, and collaborate with the designer when necessary; - Control the execution of tests and inspections on infrastructure and equipment; - Monitor schedules according to the revised work calendar and other relevant comments on work progress, including proposals to correct any deviations between actual progress and the contractor’s schedule; - Complete claim disclosure forms when requested and follow up prior to final payments; - Issue the work completion certification form; - Represent the client on the site health and safety committee. Requirements: - Be an intermediate engineer and active member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec; - Possess a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in construction project supervision for water and sewer networks and roadway projects; - Possess five (5) years of relevant experience in the design of water and sewer network construction projects; - Have completed water and sewer network construction projects; - Hold a certificate of completion for the course "Gestion des impacts des travaux routiers" and the course "Supervision et surveillance de la signalisation de travaux de chantier routiers" from the training program on road and highway construction site signage provided by an organization recognized by the MTQ, valid for the entire duration of the contract. SALARY The salary will be calculated based on the average hourly rate corresponding to your profile.
