Voyago is hiring an Operations Supervisor to oversee our On-Demand Transit service in the Niagara Region. Your Role Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all Transportation-related operations in assigned areas. Primarily focusing on internal logistics and coordinating operations between other support team members This individual will work closely with Human Resources and Maintenance to support operations while managing the individuals within the operation. Help fuel and maintain the cleanliness of all vehicles Directs the activities of staff, ensuring that drivers are meeting the standards set out in various Transportation contracts and ensuring business activities continue to be managed during staff vacation/sick leaves Monitors performance of staff through site visits, completed incident/collision reports and conducts follow-up when required, providing annual performance review input and resolving problems Coordinate with Health & Safety to arrange training KPI’s as directed, reviews with drivers and reports back to Operations Manager Available on-call for divisional emergencies which may include holidays and weekends Maintains work schedules and ensure coverage is provided at all times Functions as key contact to support teams such as maintenance, human resources and health and safety Cover runs when required Oversees the completion of monthly ghosting and deficiency reports Maintains paperwork and timesheets and oversees all elements of the process Ensures timely and accurate entering of payroll Serve as a contact to staff and assist in all forms of employee engagement and regular meetings Assist and co-ordinate driver on boarding and orientation processes for new hires Monitor employees license upgrades if necessary from start to finish Work in a unionized environment Schedule: Full-Time, Tuesday to Saturday, 2:30pm-11:00pm, 40 hours per week Requirements Your profile You are safety focused You are a safe driver with a clean driving record You have a minimum valid full G Ontario Drivers license You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening You have a sound knowledge of the Greater Niagara Region including St Catharine's, Welland and surrounding area. This role ensures that Ready-to-Eat (RTE) and Not-Ready-to-Eat (NRTE) areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety. The Sanitation Lead also ensures adherence to Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and contributes to their development and improvement. Requirements Sanitation Program Management: Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to the facility's sanitation program, including food contact surfaces, equipment, and production areas. The Packaging Team Lead is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the packaging at PORTA. This includes ensuring adherence to GMP, HACCP, and SOPs, managing the team’s performance, and ensuring products are packaged correctly and safely. The Packaging Team Lead is tasked with ensuring that metal detection, packaging accuracy, labeling, and carton selection are all in compliance with operational and regulatory standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, food safety, and operational efficiency in line with company policies and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervision & Leadership Lead, mentor, and supervise the Packaging Team, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are met. Coordinate and delegate tasks effectively to meet production deadlines. Provide ongoing training and development to team members on proper packaging procedures, food safety, and regulatory requirements. Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement. Packaging Process Management Oversee the entire packaging process, ensuring products are packaged according to Work Orders (WO’s), company SOPs and HACCP guidelines. Monitor production lines to ensure products are packaged correctly, with no deviations from approved processes. Record and report packaging-related quality issues, product discrepancies, and non-compliance to management. Ensure that all team members follow food safety regulations, including proper hygiene practices and PPE use. Documentation & Reporting Ensure that all packaging processes, quality checks, and metal detection tests are properly documented and recorded in accordance with company and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate production logs and reports, including metal detector records, packaging batch numbers, and inventory usage. Review packaging reports and communicate any discrepancies or issues with the team and management. Work with the Quality Assurance team to maintain and update SOPs, ensuring compliance with the latest regulatory requirements. Safety & Food Safety Compliance Enforce safety protocols, ensuring that team members are following safe operating practices. Ensure all packaging activities are conducted in compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, and CFIA regulations. Identify and address any safety hazards or risks in the packaging area and implement corrective actions as needed. Participate in safety audits and assist in the development of action plans to correct identified risks.
