Your Role ● Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum and cater to different age groups and skill levels. ● Demonstrate dance techniques and safe dance teaching methods. ● Plan, attend, and teach all scheduled classes and rehearsals, utilizing the studio's syllabus in conjunction with your ideas. ● Follow the Studio’s systems and procedures. ● Share your love of dance. ● Collaborate, communicate and promote a positive working relationship with students, parents and other staff members to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. ● Create innovative and age-appropriate choreography for class routines and teach a minimum of one dance routine per assigned class, to be performed throughout the year and in performances, including two recitals in January and June. ● Select and edit music for dance routines. ● Create, maintain, foster and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel safe, supported, and inspired. ● Apply basic first aid as required. ● Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any updates from the studio. ● Assist with production operations and planning for performances, programs, events and sessions as needed. ● Assist with administrative duties related to the operation and growth of the studio as needed. ● Maintain a professional demeanour and adhere to studio policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic young woman who is in tune with fashion and can use social media, available 2-5 days a week. Job description: The boutique pop up is a portable booth selling fashion items in the heart of Halifax. You will be outdoors for 5 hours a day. Approx. 10-3 or 11-4 and we could be flexible with your schedule. You will be paid $20 an hour with potential to earn tips and commission. During your shift you can eat, read, go on your phone, have a smoke, pass the time as you like, as long as you are tending the booth when customers are present and welcoming passerby's to come check out the booth. You will need mobile data on your phone to access our team app during your shift, and to occasionally post instagram stories. You might be there alone at times but you will have a team member on call 10 minutes away if so. If you have a friend to come hangout with you thats cool, and we can even offer them to be paid if they are enthusiastic about fashion and can draw people to the booth. The Sidney Finisher Farm is a 8,200 space finisher farm located near Sydney, Manitoba. PLDO also owns another 5000 sows, including in-house multiplication, 17,000 nursery spaces, 35,000 finisher spaces, a feed mill, and feed and livestock transportation. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure while handling multiple tasks. Weekend and holiday work are required on a rotational basis. A valid driver’s licence and a vehicle are required to get to and from work. Experience in commercial pig production is not required but is considered an asset. The ability to communicate in English is required. With the direction of the site manager, the finisher farm technician is responsible for executing daily tasks related to the care of pigs during the finisher phase. Duties include following all biosecurity and animal welfare policies, preparing barns for the arrival of new pigs, operating and maintaining the environmental control system, operating and maintaining feeding systems, selecting pigs for market, loading livestock trailers, operating equipment such as a tractor or skid steer, recording production information daily, repair and maintenance of farm buildings and equipment, as well as general maintenance and cleaning.
