Key Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of collection activity and client communications. • Evaluate and assign credit limits to new and existing commercial accounts, including accounts without preset limits. • Analyze trade references, financial statements, and third-party credit reports (e.g., Equifax, Sterling) to assess creditworthiness. • Set up approved accounts in the internal system and communicate details to the sales team and customers. Required Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years' experience in collections, credit analysis, risk management, or credit management. • Strong ability to interpret credit reports and apply internal credit criteria. • Proficient in credit reporting tools such as D&B, Equifax, and Sterling. • Competent in using office software including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools. Preferred Qualifications: • CCP designation (Certified Credit Professional) or currently enrolled in the CCP program with the Credit Institute of Canada. • While industry-specific experience is not mandatory, familiarity with industrial or large-ticket sales environments is an asset. Compensation & Benefits: • Starting salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year, based on experience. • Comprehensive health and pension plan provided.
