We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Data Analyst to support our financial operations and drive data-driven decision-making across our growing portfolio. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance of property assets. Develop dashboards and models to monitor KPIs such as occupancy, rent roll, NOI, and expense ratios. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Data Management Collect, clean, and validate data from accounting software, property management systems, and Excel-based models. Maintain data integrity for accurate financial and operational reporting. Strategic Insights Conduct profitability, cash flow, and ROI analyses for individual properties and across portfolios. Deliver insights on leasing performance, cost trends, and capital investment impacts. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve financial tracking systems and reporting efficiency. Collaborate cross-functionally with property managers, accountants, and leadership teams. Ad Hoc Analysis Assist with asset valuations, investment analysis, refinancing, and investor reporting. Prepare executive summaries and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within real estate or property management. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling), and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium, or MRI is an asset. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data clearly. Preferred Qualifications: • CCP designation (Certified Credit Professional) or currently enrolled in the CCP program with the Credit Institute of Canada. • While industry-specific experience is not mandatory, familiarity with industrial or large-ticket sales environments is an asset.
