We are looking for a responsible, caring, and attentive babysitter (female preferred) in the neighborhood of Williamstown and Green Valley for five adorable and easy going children (ages 2.5, 5, 6, 9 and 11), once to three times a week, and for the long term (from 6 months to one year). The job involves staying with the children while we leave for work, taking them to the school bus stop across the street from our house. In the afternoon, you will pick them up from the school bus stop and stay with them until one of us returns from work. Occasionally, it will also be required to drop off or pick up the youngest one from daycare in Alexandria so you need to have your own car. No housekeeping duties or meal preparation. Position Summary: I am looking for a compassionate and reliable respite worker with a background in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to support an 8-year-old autistic child. The ideal candidate will spend a few structured hours each day engaging child in developmentally appropriate activities, helping her stay regulated, and taking her out for walks or to nearby parks, while supporting her in a calm and positive manner.
