ShareSeeking a reliable, and experienced Personal Support Worker (PSW) for a long-term position in a private home setting. This dual-role position involves providing personal care support to an adult with a physical disability, as well as child care assistance as needed. The ideal candidate will be committed, professional, and respectful of the employer's privacy and household routines. You must be capable of working both independently and collaboratively, with an emphasis on punctuality, discretion, and attentiveness. Key Responsibilities: - Personal Care Assistance: Support with dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility (transferring, lifting, positioning, and exercises). - Household Support: Housekeeping duties including meal prep, dishwashing, laundry, and general cleaning (sweeping, mopping, tidying). - Child Care Duties: Assist with bathing, bottle feeding, diaper changes, and supervision as needed. - Other Duties: Tasks that the employer would perform independently if not for a physical disability. Qualifications & Requirements: - Prior experience as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or caregiver. - Punctual, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision. - Non-smoker. - Respects privacy and maintains confidentiality at all times.
