MISSION The Supervisor, Clinical Services plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the delivery of high-quality clinical care within the organization. PRIORTIES Provide clinical supervision, consultation and training to therapists, group facilitators, and contracted staff to ensure exceptional clinical support services. Contribute to the delivery of support services through team building, excellent customer service, continuous quality improvement and risk management. Provide expertise on high-risk cases, including risk assessment and crisis intervention, as requested by staff. Monitor client intakes into the program to ensure every client has been provided with a high level of clinical service from the team. Determine the training and professional development needs of the team and develop/update program curriculum and tools for programs with team consultation. Support the implementation of the program’s strategic plans, direct and monitor clinical activities so that strategic goals and approved budgets are met. Ensure the clinical teams understanding of all clinical and administrative procedures and determine where the policies, procedures and protocols require updates or adjustments to ensure best practices are being adhered to. Respect the agency to maintain and strengthen collaborative relationships with community partners on various projects and initiatives as assigned. Requirements TALENTS & EXPERTISE A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a relevant field. A Master's degree is considered an asset. Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, with a strong ability to lead and motivate a team. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on clinical treatment experience in a relevant healthcare setting. Current Standard First Aid, CPR and CPI certificate. Registration with the OCSWSSW or the CRPO. Supervisory experience in a Not-for-profit, unionized environment is a strong asset. Proven ability to lead by example, engage and mentor staff, and guide teams toward successful project completion and goal achievement with humility and efficiency. The Care Company is looking for an awesome, self-driven Nurse (RPN or RN) to provide complex care for paediatric clients in the home setting. Shifts We have clients in need for a variety of different shifts, including day, evening, overnight, and weekends. MOST URGENT NEED: *Currently seeking a nurse for a client in Oshawa consistent Sundays 8am-4pm. Please note the client has large dogs in the home; the chosen candidate must be okay to work in an environment with dogs. Shift lengths vary from 4-12 hours in length depending on the client's needs. Please only apply if you can commit to a CONSISTENT, ONGOING, WEEKLY schedule with no foreseeable changes to your availability. Consistency of care is a top priority for us and our clients. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one personal care to clients in their home environment, including full assistance with bathing (bed baths, showers, perineal care), oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, dressing, and feeding, in accordance with the client’s care plan and scope of practice Administer medications orally, topically, subcutaneously, or via G-tube, as per CNO scope and documented medical orders; document all administrations in the electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR). Monitor and assess clients’ vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations, oxygen saturation), document findings, and report any abnormal readings or concerns to the designated Care Coordinator or physician. Support clients with medical needs such as oxygen therapy (monitoring levels, changing tanks, checking saturation), G-tube feeding (preparing and administering formula, flushing lines), and suctioning as per training and client-specific protocols. Safely assist clients with mobility and transfers using mechanical lifts (Hoyer, sit-to-stand) or manual assistance, following prescribed mobility plans and ensuring proper body mechanics and safety procedures. Perform prescribed range of motion (ROM) and physical therapy exercises under direction of a physiotherapist or care plan, and assist with ambulation inside the home or outdoors if required. Observe and document any changes in the client’s physical, cognitive, or emotional condition, including changes in skin integrity, alertness, behaviour, and breathing patterns; escalate concerns as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided, including progress notes, incident reports, and communication logs, in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Use and dispose of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, gowns, and eye protection as per infection prevention and control protocols and Public Health Ontario guidelines. Comply with organizational policies regarding infection control, client safety, privacy, and professional conduct; report all hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately. Requirements The following Requirements are MANDATORY: Active registration and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Nurse (RN) Current CPR and First Aid certification, completed through a recognized training provider within the past 12 months. Valid WHMIS 2015 certification, issued or renewed within the past 12 months. Negative TB test (2-step or 1-step with prior documentation), completed within the past 12 months. Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, or exemption in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code. Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, issued within the past 12 months. Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as required.
