This role is ideally suited for a semi-retired individual with extensive driving experience who enjoys staying active and working in a flexible, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Operate a hook lift truck for the delivery, swap, and pickup of bins. Safely load, secure, and deliver roofing materials and equipment using a forklift as needed. Perform daily pre-trip inspections and keep the vehicle clean and safe. Handle physical tasks, including lifting loads weighing 60–70 pounds. Adapt to a busy, fast-paced work environment and adjust to changing job requirements. Start early and be prepared to work longer hours during peak season as required. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of hook lift bin driving experience. Valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract. Experience operating a forklift (certification is an asset). Physically fit and capable of handling heavier loads. Flexible, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Compensation: Starting rate: $22–$24 per hour, depending on experience. Wages can be paid hourly or per day, depending on the agreement and workload. This is a seasonal position with extended hours during peak seasons. Flexibility is essential.
