Description

About us Ottawa law firm Auger Hollingsworth had modest beginnings. In 2004, criminal defense lawyer Richard Auger started the firm with one client file, operating in shared office space with another law firm. Months later, Richard’s wife Brenda Hollingsworth, a litigation and personal injury specialist, joined the firm and became an equal partner. The firm grew quickly as a result of Richard and Brenda’s tireless work ethic. Early successes for clients led to word-of-mouth referrals and a buzz in the legal and business circles in Ottawa. As word spread about the law firm, recognition soon followed. The firm was named the bronze winner of the Ottawa Business Journal’s “New Business of the Year” award in 2006. Requirements The successful candidate will be creative and will develop, manage, and own the results for all business development and referral marketing partnership initiatives, including the below:  Develop and execute strategies that drive new clients to the firm, including referral relationships and community publicity. Research and communicate with potential referral sources through lawyer events, lawyer publications, health professionals, and other professionals who serve injured people in the community. Support all firm members in the management of their contact networks, including staying top-of-mind with key contacts. Oversee the firm’s referral partner list building, email marketing initiatives, including campaign management and reporting.   This professional must be outgoing, execute with a "hands-on" approach, and demonstrate an “anything can be done” attitude. The successful candidate will ideally live in Ontario and be able to travel to work in both of our Ottawa and Toronto offices.  Although this is an active role in the community, some remote work will be permitted.  The successful candidate must have some relevant work experience and a university degree(s).
