Our team is well-capitalized with engineering offices in New York City, Toronto, and Vancouver. We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Product team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative products that enhance our platform's functionality and user experience. This role is 5 days per week onsite in our downtown Toronto office. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design, develop, and maintain product features and enhancements for our platform. Implement best practices in software development to ensure code quality, security, and performance. Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve the technical stack. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and learning. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on product engineering. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar. Experience with modern web frameworks and technologies. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Complete individual store quantity takeoffs (multi store roll out programs). Requirements Must have post-secondary education and/or equivalent minimum of three years administrative/project coordination experience. Must have the ability to demonstrate experience in creating and maintaining spreadsheets utilizing MS Office programs. Intermediate to expert level of MS Word and Excel is required. An understanding of MRP fundamentals is preferred. Highly organized, diligent, and a high level of initiative. Must be able to work independently while multi-tasking.
