High School English Teacher/Tutor

Hello! I am a High School English Teacher (OCT #627878) and am available to tutor students from grades 9-12 needing help or a challenge in English and Social Sciences. I am looking for students who require support through the summer or in September. I have been teaching for 13 years and hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Bachelor of Education both from York University. I hold an English Specialist with a Special Education qualification. I am a passionate teacher and love discussing literature and challenging students to look beyond the words on the page and make connections to the world around them. Online tutoring available through Google Classroom. $50/hour or $25/half hour. Your first 30 minute session is FREE. This will allow me to assess your child’s areas of need and ensure that I will be able to support them to the best of my ability. There is no obligation to continue.
