Your Responsibilities: Patrol hospital grounds, entrances, and restricted areas Provide exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors Enforce access control and screen individuals using manual or equipment-based methods De-escalate conflicts and maintain a calm, professional presence Report incidents thoroughly and clearly Collaborate with hospital staff and local law enforcement Requirements You Bring: Valid Ontario Security License Standard First Aid & CPR Level C (WSIB-approved vendor) Diploma in Police Foundations, Protection Security & Investigations, Border Services, or Criminology Fluency in English – written and oral Completed Use of Force (UoF) & Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certifications (or willingness to complete Paladin’s sponsored training with 6-month commitment) Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (two doses) Immunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella, and two-step TB skin test Legally authorized to work in Canada Benefits Perks & Support: Paid on-the-job training and development Medical, dental, and life insurance benefits Inclusive workplace culture that values diversity Team-first leadership that promotes from within
