TEHORA is currently looking for a COBOL programmer analyst with strong technical skills, solid knowledge, and a desire to apply their expertise within a versatile team. The following, without being exhaustive, outlines the services and deliverables expected from the selected candidate. The tasks to be performed under this mandate include, in whole or in part: - Reviewing functional architecture documents or product backlog; - Consulting with users; - Creating or modifying functional specifications; - Presenting functional specifications to users and obtaining their approval; - Implementing corrections for functional specification issues prior to production; - Supporting users in preparing acceptance testing, test strategies, and test case inventories, monitoring testing execution, and resolving issues; - Performing any other activities related to this mandate. Deliverables: The deliverables to be produced or revised include, in whole or in part, the following items, without being limited to them: - Functional specifications; - Functional test plans, test cases, and results; - Description of programming units; - Code of programming units; - Integrated test strategy, test cases, and results; - Implementation strategy; - Solution deployment; - Graduation requests; - Any documentation underlying the above responsibilities. Requirements: 1. Hold a bachelor's degree in information technology (computer science, software engineering, or computer engineering) or another relevant field, or have a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience; 2. Have five (5) years of experience in developing and maintaining mainframe and/or client-server systems in a distributed environment; 3. Have two (2) years of experience in creating functional specifications as part of system development or maintenance; 4. Have three (3) years of experience as a functional analyst in a mainframe environment using an IDMS database and one of the following languages: COBOL and CICS, with TSO/ISPF and JCL tools.
