Hiring Experienced Painters – Now until End of September!

Location: Dunbar & Kerrisdale, Vancouver Position: Full-Time Painter (Now – September, Flexible Dates) Are you a skilled painter looking for consistent work, excellent pay, and a professional, respectful work environment? We are hiring experienced painters to join our team for the summer season, with opportunities for advancement and performance-based bonuses. Why Join Us? - Competitive Pay: Earnings are based on piece rate system (higher efficiency = greater pay). Experienced painters earn $24-$35/hr. Non-experienced painters earn $21-$26/hr. - Consistent Work: Full-time hours (40 hrs/week) with weekends and evenings off from now until the end of September. - Advancement Opportunities: Crew Chief promotions available with increased pay and leadership responsibilities. - Professional Environment: Work with a team that values efficiency, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction. - Performance-Based Bonuses: Additional earnings available through efficiency, client tips, and end-of-season bonuses. - Overtime Pay: Occasional opportunities at 1.5x regular pay. What We’re Looking For - 1+ year(s) of professional painting experience is preferred. - Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality. - Attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanship. - Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team setting. - Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs (22 kg) and working on ladders for a full day. - Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. - Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is an asset but not required. Your Role - Prepare and paint residential and commercial surfaces. - Perform tasks such as scraping, sanding, glazing, caulking, priming, and masking. - Apply paint and stain using brushes, rollers, and sprayers. - Maintain a clean and organized job site. - Follow all WorkSafeBC safety protocols.
