Klassen Greenhouse Farms Inc. is looking to fill 1 position on our Greenhouse Pepper Farm. Details for all positions: Start Date: July, 2025 Wage: $17.23 per hour. Seasonal Full Time Employment Hours vary upon season. Approx 40-60 hours per week Heavy Lifting. Must be available to work Monday to Saturday. Job Location: 63 County Road 29, Cottam, ON Duties could include but are not limited to: Planting, picking, sorting, grading, packing, crop work, cleaning, sweeping etc. Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, handling heavy boxes, bending, crouching, kneeling, Attention to Detail Weight handling up to 45 kg's We are located in a rural area. The work site is Hot. Confined space and wet/damp at times. Fast paced, repetition, bending, pushing, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods of time. Experience on a farm would be an asset, but not required. Will Train. No degree, certificate or diploma required. Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Site Work & Material Handling Perform site preparation tasks including clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures. Handle and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment. Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and equipment operators. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the project site. Safety & Compliance Adhere to Quanta’s Capacity Program, all company and site-specific safety protocols and procedures. Participate in daily safety briefings and report any hazards or incidents immediately. Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is used correctly and consistently. Team Collaboration & Communication Work closely with site supervisors, foremen, engineers, and equipment operators to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment of project goals and timelines. Support other team members as needed to meet project objectives. SKILLS: Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor. Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Strong commitment to safety and quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in construction or manual labour is preferred. Experience working on renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure projects is an asset. WORKING CONDITIONS: This is a field-based position requiring work in varying weather conditions and terrain. Travel to project sites across Canada is required. Extended hours and weekend work may be necessary based on project demands. Potential Living Out Allowance (LOA) allowance or temporary camp available.
