Nurse in Baie-Comeau / Home care (Day shift)

Job Offer: Nurse or Clinical Nurse Location: Baie-Comeau Contract Type: Home Care Start Date: May 31, 2025 End Date: October 7, 2025 We are seeking a nurse or clinical nurse to join our team in Baie-Comeau. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and the ability to work in a hospital environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to manage complex situations with competence and compassion. Mission: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a hospital setting. Assess patients' medical and emotional needs, particularly those with dementia or requiring hospital-based care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Use the Epic system to document care and monitor patient progress. Ensure effective communication with families regarding patients' health status and care needs. Participate in case management to ensure continuity of care, especially in home care or assisted living contexts. Train and supervise auxiliary staff when necessary. Requirements: DEC diploma in nursing and a valid practice license. Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or medical setting is strongly preferred. Recent and relevant experience in home care. Familiarity with medical information systems, particularly Epic. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
