TEHORA is currently seeking an expert portfolio governance advisor with strong technical skills, extensive knowledge, and a desire to apply their expertise within a versatile team.
The following, without being exhaustive, outlines the services and deliverables expected from the selected candidate.
Description of work or deliverables:
The expert portfolio governance advisor will provide expertise and guidance in the following areas. Their main activities, without being exhaustive, include:
Advising, supporting, and assisting the project portfolio governance team in operationalizing a project portfolio:
o Identifying and evolving criteria for developing investment scenarios;
o Identifying issues, risks, and challenges;
o Identifying appropriate solutions by proposing scenarios and advising on governance elements to implement;
o Implementing management mechanisms;
o Establishing processes, dashboards, and committees;
o Resolving multiple decision points throughout the mandate.
Concretely carrying out operationalization steps in collaboration with the project portfolio governance team:
o Collecting and analyzing required information;
o Producing investment scenarios;
o Preparing presentations for management decision-making;
o Participating in the evolution of processes;
o Providing follow-ups to management in the form of dashboards.
Advising and supporting the Digital Strategy and Performance management team in organizing actions required to properly manage the administrative impacts of implementing a portfolio and the resulting organizational transition; in activities that will help clarify strategies and communication plans for administrative changes; and in taking ownership of these activities as needed;
Anticipating challenges and risk factors during the implementation of selected solutions and proposing appropriate mitigation measures;
Collaborating in the planning of the administrative implementation of assigned tasks, particularly by adequately addressing concerns related to change management, training and information needs, and alignment with IT delivery planning;
Ensuring knowledge transfer to the organizationâs internal resources.
Requirements
Have a minimum of twelve (12) years of professional experience in information technology;
Have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a strategic advisor in implementing best practices in project portfolio governance within an organizational and IT project context comparable to that of the company;
Have applied concepts of investment scenarios, prioritization and selection criteria, and performance indicators for a strategic project portfolio within the scope of at least two (2) mandates of a minimum of one hundred (100) person-days each within the last ten (10) years;
Have written analyses of issues and formulated recommendations for decision-making by directors, general managers, vice-presidents, or presidents as part of at least two (2) mandates.

SALARY
The salary will be calculated based on the average hourly rate corresponding to your profile.
WORK LOCATION
The work location will be determined according to the mandate and may involve remote work or on-site at the client's location.
