TEHORA is currently seeking a senior functional architect with strong technical skills, in-depth knowledge, and a desire to apply their expertise within a versatile team. The following list, while not exhaustive, outlines the services and deliverables the selected candidate will be expected to provide. Description of work or deliverables: Participate in drafting or validating certain preliminary analysis and detailed architecture deliverables; Support project teams, as needed, in working with clients to define requirements; Develop or update the functional section of the architecture, including decomposition into subsystems and modules; Coordinate or participate in functional and integrated functional testing in collaboration with stakeholders, by developing test execution plans and progress reports according to the detailed testing strategy; Guide, support, advise, and assist functional analysts in carrying out their work, and validate the compliance of these deliverables with the functional architecture. Administrative activities: Record worked hours in the project management tool; Provide the project manager with progress updates on assigned deliverables, according to deadlines agreed upon with the DGTI; Prepare documents required for various meetings; Attend team or project follow-up meetings and steering committees, as invited. Deliverables to be produced: Functional architecture documentation; Impact, risk, and cost assessments; Integrated testing strategy, test cases, and results; Use case diagrams; Class diagrams. Requirements: Hold a bachelor’s degree in information technology (computer science, software engineering, or information systems) or an equivalent qualification in a related field. Lack of a formal degree may be compensated by six (6) additional years of experience in information technology; Have eight (8) years of experience in information technology; Have five (5) years of experience as a functional architecture consultant using structured development methodologies; Have worked on at least one (1) Agile-mode project as a functional architecture consultant, involving service-oriented or microservices architecture concepts. Skills considered an asset: Experience as an analyst on low-code development platforms (Dynamics365); Participation in at least one Agile-mode information system development project; Completion of a mandate of at least 6 months within a government or para-governmental organization. SALARY Salary will be calculated based on the average hourly rate corresponding to your profile.
