Mamiya 7 w/ 65mm Lens (Exc. condition with goodies!)

address821 Maryland Ave, Brandon, MB R7A 6J2, Canada

Description

Mamiya 7 with 65mm lens. Details? Here ya go: -Body- The body is in good condition, with a few scratches here and there from normal use. There is a small bit of...corrosion(?) on the plastic where the bug spray I was wearing ate at the plastic a bit. It is completely superficial and has had no effect on function. Looks kinda neat actually. The finder is the upgraded 7ii finder with the polarized glass. Great for clarity unless you wear polarized sunglasses a lot. The finder has some dust but nothing you really notice without shining a light through it. The rangefinder patch is clear, and the rangefinder itself is accurate. Framelines are also clear. There are no light leaks. There are no problems with winding. The meter was adjusted the last time the camera was serviced and is accurate as all get out. Self-timer works, as does the PC sync socket and, of course, the hotshoe. The camera used to have an issue where the meter would freak out and select "LT" instead of the appropriate shutter speed when using AE or AEL mode. I believe this was due to some dust mucking with the contacts under the shutter speed dial. A few quick turns of the dial cleared it up, and at the last servicing, the underside of the dial was cleaned the problem has not come back since. -Lens- Lens has no issues beyond a bit of dust, which is no issue at all. All shutter speeds are accurate and the blades are clean. No haze, no fungus; say it with me now: "No problem in the shooting". The 65mm lens for the M7 system has a common, known failure point in that a wire inside the lens will detach when focussing and mess up the metering. This did occur in this copy and it was repaired by Computech in Winnipeg to great success. The hood, lens cap, and end cap are all included. -Goodies- Sure, you get the camera body and lens in this package deal, but what are these "goodies" you speak of? Well... -Mamiya strap (it's not a great strap but it's original and has Mamiya on it so there) -Body cap (it was actually still sealed until I took it out for this ad) -Lens hood -Lens cap -Lens end cap -An empty 120 spool -At least one spare battery, two if I can find the other one (they're the good ones, too) -The last of my supply of 120 Portra 400 since I won't need it anymore. It's like two full pro packs worth, maybe more, I will confirm on contact. -Selling- This is a big ticket item so safety is paramount. Prefer buyer in Southern Manitoba. If you're in Winnipeg we can meet halfway or in the city depending on schedule. Sale will be conducted at a convenient police station, and not one-on-one or alone. Please contact about any details I might have missed or that you are curious about. Pictures taken with this camera are available upon request. I have run out of image slots for this ad so please ask if you want to see more pictures of it. Cash only.
