LEAD GUITARIST WANTED

Give Up The Sun gets its rocks off playing 70s and 80s-influenced alternative music with a dark and soulful vibe. We're looking for a LEAD GUITARIST. We play a mix of covers and originals (increasingly more originals than covers). As a Lead Guitarist, you are inspired by Poison Ivy, Duane Eddy, Link Wray, and all that classic psychadelic, surf, and garage stuff. We're looking for a fairly specific big and jangly sound. Influences: The Cramps; Duane Eddy; Link Wray; Echo and the Bunnymen; Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds; MC5; The Gun Club; Crime and the City Solution; Rowland S Howard; Elliott Smith; Neko Case; Gladys Knight and the Pips; Sam and Dave; Supremes.
