7 spots open for specialized tutoring! I’m an Orton-Gillingham certified tutor specializing in reading and writing remediation in both English and French, with over 7 years of experience! Many of my students started with me in elementary school and are now in high school, meaning I have experience with a wide range of student needs. Sessions are 50$/hour - and are 100% online. Ideal for students grade 2 and up. I always provide a free assessment before starting students on their own personalized curriculum. I focus on building hand strength for good handwriting, cursive writing (proven to help with spelling retention), reading, sight words, syllable decoding, and much more. My approach, heavily influenced by the Orton-Gillingham initiative, is all about giving students confidence in themselves and helping them not dread school, reading or writing.
