Winter cover rolled up and stored at customers requirements. If safety cover is present the cover is removed folded and put away in bag provided. All grommet (safety cover brass screws) lowered to deck surface. Skimmer plug and return plugs removed. Sand filter bottom drain as well as sight glass and backwash line reinstalled. Pump basket and drain plugs reinstalled within the pump. And pump primed for operation. Salt cell installed and plugged in for operation. We encourage our customers to raise the level of the pool before we arrive giving us the ability to completely run the system and test for leaks. Basically putting the garden hose underneath the cover and raising the water level to operation level. Every two to three years the salt cell should be cleaned with acid to clean scaling within the salt cell. As well as the filter needs the sand changed every five years. Both systems are designed to clean your water without adding a lot lots of chemicals both these services are available and we encourage our customers to research both process but are not required for opening or by-weekly maintenance.
