Despite banner that says bed panels are 'new, break resistant'; the foot board does have a crack in the panel that is not very noticeable and does not affect performance at all. Still in good condition. Plastic casing did develop a split which we have repaired with aluminum tape. Again this is cosmetic and does not affect performance.
