TRIBAL DRUM from S. E. ASIA Vintage WOOD and SKIN

I bought and brought this drum back from my travels in South East Asia in the mid 1990's. It's amazingly similar to an African style drum...but believe me when I say I bought it in Malaysia! It's primarily made of hand carved soft wood and topped with an animal skin stretched over the top. Note the wooden pieces in picture #2; they are made to insert and tune the drum.
