Part-Time Executive Assistant Location: Hybrid / Charlottetown, PEI Hours: 10-15 hours per week (flexible schedule) Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, growth incentives available Reports to the master Hamer swinger. lol About Us We are a growing custom home building company rooted in integrity, craftsmanship, and forward-thinking leadership. Role Overview The Part-Time Executive Assistant will serve as a critical support to the master shoveller, (not a fan of titles) ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly, strategically, and professionally. This role is ideal for someone with strong critical thinking skills, resourcefulness, and a desire to grow into an integral part of an expanding organization. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct administrative support to the labourers helpers assistant, including calendar management, email triage, meeting prep, and task tracking • Assist with operational tasks such as permit coordination, documentation, client communication, and CRM updates • Perform light research and summarize findings to support executive decision-making • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion • Support vendor coordination and subcontractor follow-up • Prepare and edit internal documents, contracts, and proposals • Anticipate executive needs and solve problems before they escalate Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (business, communications, or similar field preferred) • 2+ years of experience in a professional administrative, operational, or executive support role • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Excellent judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities • Tech-savvy: proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and willing to learn platforms like Monday.com or Buildertrend • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive • Discreet, trustworthy, and grounded in professionalism What We’re Looking For • A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable with ambiguity • Someone who values traditional business ethics—honesty, loyalty, and follow-through • A team player with the long-term vision to grow with the company • An individual who can bring both structure and innovation to a developing system Why Join Us? • You’ll be part of a purpose-driven team that values quality over quantity • You’ll have a direct impact on shaping internal systems, culture, and future roles • Flexible hours and growth potential into a full-time leadership or operations role • Ground-floor opportunity with mentorship from an experienced and passionate builder To Apply: Please submit a résumé and a brief cover letter explaining why you’re interested in this role and how your background aligns with our mission.
