Description

Under the responsibility of team leader, operations supervisor and/or plant manager, the packaging worker is a key player who packages various products while ensuring a high level of quality. The role includes the following responsibilities: · Apply good manufacturing practices, CNESST regulations, and Zinda Canada Products' work and quality policies; · Lift, load, move, and palletize loads up to 25kg manually and loads up to 1500kg using manual and electric carts; · Perform packaging of the wide range of various products manufactured by Zinda Canada Products; · Carry out cleaning of machinery and plant facilities; · Support the machine operator and team leader in their work; · Replace the operator and operate packaging machines, perform adjustments, roll changes, printer adjustments, cleaning, and any other tasks related to the overall process; · Ensure that necessary packaging materials are available; Perform rigorous checks of your workstation and assigned equipment; Keep your work area clean, promote and respect personal hygiene rules; Ensure packaging methods (specifications) are applied; Inform concerned personnel of all anomalies related to production, packaging, and other processes; · Maintain and be able to establish harmonious relationships with coworkers; All other related tasks. Requirements: • Physical ability to perform the job (able to lift weights up to 25 kg); • Ability to stand for long periods of time • Manual dexterity and ease with the use of machinery and/or tools; • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have good stress tolerance; • Comfortable with performance indicator tracking; • Demonstrate autonomy and resourcefulness; • Good ability to influence members of the work team; • Ability to work in a hot environment; • Be independent, responsible, precise, calm, conscientious, and reliable to properly carry out tasks according to current standards; • Ability to express oneself clearly in order to convey messages to a diverse team.
