We are seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer to join our team on a contract or full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have the authority and expertise to review, stamp, and submit interconnection agreements for distributed energy systems with utility companies throughout Alberta. What You’ll Do: ✅ Review and stamp electrical drawings and interconnection applications ✅ Submit documentation to utilities (e.g., Fortis, ATCO, ENMAX) and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards ✅ Liaise with utility companies to address technical questions and support application approvals ✅ Provide technical oversight to ensure safe and reliable grid interconnection Qualifications: ⚡ P.Eng. licensed and in good standing with APEGA ⚡ Strong knowledge of CSA standards, Canadian Electrical Code, and Alberta utility interconnection requirements ⚡ Experience with renewable energy systems ⚡ Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills Why Work With Us?
