MY BACKGROUND I am an English-fluent high school and university tutor with a high level of experience working for tutoring companies and being self employed. I tutor online when I see my students. I graduated at St Mary's Academy in 2000 and afterwards I attended the University of Manitoba, completing a B. Sc. in Microbiology and Chemistry, double major. While at the U of M, I worked at tutoring companies/franchises, and privately as well. When I graduated, I started tutoring full time. MY METHODS My usual tutoring approach is giving some background information, doing a few practice problems with the students, answering any questions and letting students try a few questions on their own. I often am in contact with teachers via e-mail, and they can always email me with updates, upcoming test info, etc. I am very easy to contact - parents/students/teachers can contact me and I usually reply within 1-2 hours. MY HOURS Every session is 2 hours, and my hours are Monday-Thursday 4:30-8:30, Friday 4:30-6:30, Satuday 10 am -12:00 pm, and 12:00-2:00 pm.
