( You can reach me at 647 839 9509 ) Summer classes are available for the following courses: Online or In person, Small Group Classes. $30-50 per hour. 1) Math Advanced Functions (MHF4U) 2) Math Calculus & Vectors (MCV4U), 3) Physics Grade 11 (SPH3U), 4) Physics Grade 12 (SPH4U), PHYSICS 12 AP 5) Math grades 11 & 12 AP and IB I am located near Major Mackenzie & Bathurst. Border of Richmond Hill and Vaughan. I'm a Physics and Math tutor who works with high school and university students to help bring a bit more clarity and understanding (and a little bit less stress) to physics and math courses. I'm an Applied Physics grad and a member of the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) and I have been tutoring for over 15 years, both online and in-person. Most of my tutoring sessions are 1:1 or in small groups from my home classroom located at Major Mackenzie/ Bathurst, in Richmond Hill and Vaughan areas. Tutoring is my full time job! You are very welcome to my house for small group classes near Major Mackenzie & Bathurst! These are the types of students that have been seen the most success in working with me: Pretty good students who want to be great: I work with a lot of grade 11 and 12 students with grades in the 65-75% range who need a better basis and understanding of physics and math concepts to raise their grades and better prepare them for University. Having a solid basis in how to understand and approach problems is so important and helps to set students up for success. I've worked with many students who, through hard work and commitment, raise their grades 10-15%. Excellent students who want more: As a university physics major myself, I understand students wanting to understand concepts more deeply- both at the secondary and university levels. Types of Support: When working with students, we often do things like: Discussing how to get started on a problem Discussing underlying principles in a problem Reviewing what they already know before going to the next step Breaking down lessons that they've been taught into understandable parts Working through homework together Reviewing and preparing for tests Doing practice test Working on Physics Lab Reports I tutor the following courses: Advanced Functions MHF4U Calculus Vectors MCV4U Data Management MDM4U Functions 11 MCR3U Physics 11 SPH3U Physics 12 SPH4U AP and IB courses University Level: York University: 1) SC/MATH 1310 Integral Calculus with Applications 2) SC/MATH 2310 Calculus of Several Variables with Applications 3) SC/MATH 1520 Introduction to Calculus with Vectors 4) SC/MATH 2271 Differential Equations 5) SC/MATH 1505 Math for Life and Social Sciences 6) SC/MATH 1013 Applied Calculus 1 7) SC/MATH 1014 Applied Calculus 2 , Also 1) Calculus 1 MTH140 (TMU) 2) Calculus 2 MTH240 (TMU) 3) Differential Equations MTH425 (TMU) 4) Calculus 1 MAT186H1 (U of T) PHYSICS COURSES YORK U: 1) Phys 1410 Physical Science 2) Phys 1510A Introduction to Physics 3) Phys 1420A Physics with Applications to Life Sciences 4) Phys 2040 Relativity and Modern Physics
