TEHORA is currently seeking a CNESST Technical Advisor for construction sites with strong technical skills, excellent knowledge, and who wishes to apply their expertise within a versatile team. The following services and deliverables, while not exhaustive, must be provided by the selected candidate. Description of work or deliverables: Conduct workplace inspections Identify situations that could pose a hazard to construction workers Provide recommendations, including those related to psychosocial risks associated with work: Assist construction workers in exercising the rights granted to them by law and regulations Accompany the inspector during inspection visits Intervene in cases where a worker exercises their right to refuse work Requirements Have more than TWO (2) years of experience as a technical advisor or as a workplace health and safety coordinator on construction sites Hold a bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, industrial relations, or a field related to the construction industry; OR Have a minimum of FIVE (5) years of relevant experience in one of the following fields: occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, industrial relations, or a field related to the construction industry; Hold the general health and safety training certificate (card) for construction sites issued by the Parity Association for Health and Safety at Work in the Construction Sector (ASP Construction); Hold a valid and up-to-date asbestos worker certification issued by a recognized organization, or commit by letter to complete the asbestos training; Be in good standing with the Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) and commit to maintaining an active status and providing proof upon request for the duration of the contract. SALARY The salary will be calculated based on the average hourly rate corresponding to your profile.
